"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day." - Edith Lovejoy Pierce

2023 was a year of change and growth for me. We sold most of our belongings and house, moved to an RV in the country, my dad passed away, we got married.... And those are just the big events. There were so many lessons along the way.

I am not one who makes resolutions. I decided years ago that they just weren't for me. I choose to focus on setting and achieving specific goals instead. This approach can be quite effective, as it allows for a more targeted and intentional pursuit of personal or professional objectives. By making continuous progress towards these goals, one can experience a sense of accomplishment and growth.

Identifying and working towards meaningful goals can bring structure and motivation to daily life, helping to shape a fulfilling and purpose-driven journey.

By maintaining a proactive mindset and actively pursuing your aspirations, you are embracing a form of self-improvement and development that aligns with your personal preferences. This can be empowering and provide a sense of control over the direction of your life.

Keep pressing forward with your goals, and may this year be filled with progress, achievements, and fulfillment.
